Watford have reportedly rejected a £25million offer from Leicester City for captain Troy Deeney.
The Watford Observer say the Premier League champions have made the 27-year-old striker their primary transfer target this summer.
Watford, however, are loathe to lose their talisman, who scored 15 goals in all competitions last season.
This was the Foxes’ second bid for Deeney, who signed a new five-year deal with the club last summer.
It remains to be seen whether Leicester will return for a third time. What is clear, though, is that Deeney would fit perfectly into the ethos and style of Claudio Ranieri’s side.
