UCL MatchDay 1: Messi Spearheads Juve Massacre At Camp Nou, Chelsea, Man United, Bayern, PSG Record Big Wins

Lionel Messi was once again his imperial self, weighing with a brace for Barcelona in their 3-0 win over Juventus in a Champions League Group D MatchDay 1 encounter at Camp Nou on Tuesday night.
The Argentine opened the scoring on 45 minutes, with Luis Suarez assisting and made it a brace on 69 minutes helped by Andrea Iniesta, four minutes after Ivan Rakitic doubled the lead for the Catalans.
Bayern Munich and Manchester United recorded same score line of wins at to home to Anderlecht and Basel respectively while CSKA Moscow and Sporting Lisbon recorded victories on the road, winning 2-1 at Benfica and Olympiakos respectively. Maroune Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Rashford got the goals for the Jose Mourinho’s team.
Chelsea and PSG recorded the heaviest victories on the night, with Neymar opening the floodgate of goals in PSG’s 5-0 demolition of Celtic in Glasgow. Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani and Lustig were also among the goals in the Group B encounter.
Mutui M. Batshuayi scored a brace, finding the back of the net on 76 and 83 minutes while Pedro Rodriguez, Zappacosta, Azpilicueta and Bakayoko were also on target as Chelsea took charge of Group C with a 6-0 whitewash of Qarabağ at Stamford Bridge.
In in the other Group A game, CSKA Moscow were 2-1 surprise winners at Benfica, whose Portuguese neighbours Sporting Lisbon triumphed 3-2 at Olympiakos in a Group D encounter.
