Super Eagles stars, Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi on Friday received royal blessings from Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III.

The event that took place at his palace followed the charity match at the Sokoto Township Stadium the previous day, which was organized by the two players to raise funds for the less privileged in the northern state.

Abdullahi, who currently plays for Bursaspor of Turkey was delighted to meet the royal icon both players presented the Nigeria World Cup jersey.

“This month of blessings continues. We had the honor of meeting the Sultan of Sokoto and receiving his prayers for us.
