New Malaga striker, Isaac Success says he at the club to save them from dropping into the Segunda Division.
The Nigeria international striker spoke on Thursday after arriving in Malaga to commence his loan from Premier League club Watford for the remainder of the season.
“I’m here to help the Club, the coach the fans, everyone. I’m a footballer, and no footballer in the world wants to go down to the Second Division. I’m here to do what needs to be done to save the team”, the former Granada player was quoted as saying by Malaga’s official website.
He added: “I’m here to do what needs to be done to save the team. I’ve spoken to the coach and I’m happy to be here, back in LaLiga. Now I only want to work with the team and not think about the future.”
Success completed his first training session with his teammates on Friday morning alongside six other winter reinforcements, with the Nigerian training at full pace.
The team will resume training at 10:30 am on Saturday morning, at the same location, to continue preparations for Monday’s match against UD Las Palmas, who earlier in the week completed the signing of Nigeria internationals Brown Ideye and Oghenekaro Etebo on loan from Tiajin Teda and Fareinse respectively.
