Luis Suarez believes playing in the MLS at some stage in his career may not be a bad idea.
The Uruguay striker experienced the beauty of the country during Barcelona’s pre-season tour of the country that already habours great stars like Ricardo Kaka, Andreas Pirlo, David Villa, Steven Gerrard and most recently Didier Drogba.
In an interview with ESPN, the Barça striker said that the prospect of moving to the North American league might appeal to him in the latter stages of his career.
He said: “You never know what could happen. I like the country and there isn’t the same pressure.
“The other day I was walking around San Francisco and the people didn’t recognise me. It’s a very big country, football isn’t the most popular sport and you can be more relaxed. It’s not a bad option.”
