Seedorf, Kluivert Return To Holland After Penning Cameroon Coaching Deals

Ex Ajax and Netherlands team-mates, Clarence Seedorf and Patrick Kluivert are expected to return to Holland today before returning to prepare the Indomitable Lions for CAN 2019.

According to a release on Fecafoot.com, both men arrived in the country separately on Thursday to sign their contracts, with Seedorf, as head coach getting off the plane at Yaounde-Nsimalen airport, shortly before 3:00 am and was received by the chairman of the Standards Committee, Dieudonné Happim, who was accompanied by Dr. Oumarou Abdou, Djomo Kevin, members of the Normalization Committee and a strong delegation from the Ministry in charge of Sports.

This was followed by a warm exchange between Me Happi and the former AC Milan midfielder before he moved to the Hilton Hotel.

The team were back at the airport around midday to welcome assistant coach, Patrick Kluivert, who after the protocol and the reception of a bouquet of flowers, in a brief statement, said he was very proud to be in Cameroon.

Both men were later in the day at separate times at the National Television, as guests of the newspaper, with Seedorf taking his turn at 19:30 and Patrick Kluivert at 20:30.
