Egypt star Mohammed Salah has penned a note to his fans, assuring them that he would be fit enough to play at the World Cup and make them proud.
The Liverpool talisman stated this on Instagram on Sunday, a day after many feared his World Cup dreams were over after suffering a shoulder injury and taken off Champions League final clash with Real Madrid in Kiev.
“It was a very tough night, but I’m a fighter. Despite the odds, I’m confident that I’ll be in Russia to make you all proud. Your love and support will give me the strength I need,” stated Salah, who was viciously hurled down by ever-reckless Real Madrid defender, Sergio Ramos on 31 minutes and replaced by Adam Lalana.
Earlier diagnosis had revealed the player will be out for two months, which would have seen him miss out on the Mundial, but news emerged that he only suffered a sprain and will be back in two weeks.
