BY ABAYOMI JOHNSON

Aruna Quadri is delighted with his 20th ranking by International Table Table Federation, his best career world ranking.

The Nigerian moved a rung up in the January rankings by the world table tennis body, but lost his number position in Africa to Egypt’s Omer Saar, who moved from 26 to 16 positions in the world.

Reflecting on the development on Instagram, Quadri said it was the best way to start 2018.

“Best way to start the New Year 20 @ittfworld ranking @omarassar in 16. Career best World ranking,” stated the Sporting Club of Portugal ace.
