Desire Oparanozie is worried by the scare on her face, but remains thankful to God for surviving an accident that occurred a year today.
The Super Falcons striker, who in January shared a picture of a ring on her hand in a social media post to show she is was engaged, uploaded the picture above on her Instagram page as she reflected on incident on its first anniversary on Saturday.
“Can’t believe it’s been a year already. And all i can say is thank you Lord🙏have healed miraculously well, but of course, except for the scar that shows character. Indeed what doesn’t kill you sure makes you stronger. #RememberanceSaturday #FootieGirl #AwkwardInjury #HeadInjury #GodPassDevil #SmallGirlWithTheBiggestGOD,” stated the 23-year-old Guingamp player who has weighed in with 22 goals in 37 games for the Division 1 Féminine side.
Opatanozie has scored 22 goals in 35 appearances for Nigeria and was a part of the Super Falcons team that lifted African Women’s Championship in 2010, 2014 and 2016.
