Nigeria international striker, Olarenwaju Kayode, has arrived at Shakhtar Donetsk to commence his loan from Manchester City.
The 24-year-old announced his arrival at the Ukrainian giants in a post on Instagram on Thursday following his unveiling later that day.
“Thank God for everything,God is the Greatest, arrived safely#Determined#Focused#LK88,” stated the former Austria Wien player, who cut short his loan stint with Spanish La Liga side Girona due to lack of playing time.
Kayode joined Manchester City in 2017 on a four-year deal and was immediately loaned out to Girona for the 2017–18 season, making his La Liga debut on 19 August 2017 as a replacement for Portu in a 2–2 home draw against Atlético Madrid.
He was loaned out to Shakhtar Donetsk on 2 March 2018 after his loan at Girona was terminated.
