Kelechi Nwakali is happy to be back in training with Porto II after being sidelined by injury for two weeks.
The 20-year-old revealed this on Instagram on Thursday, buttressing his statement with a picture with two of his team-mates in the team’s dressing room.
“First training since two weeks good to be back with the team #haterswillsayitsfake #nawedeyhere👍👍💯💯 #mamarisedaking,” stated the Arsenal loanee, who due to the injury was excluded from Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double header against Libya.
The Super Eagles will host the North Africans in Kaduna on Saturday while the reverse tie takes place in Tunisia on Monday October 12.
Nwakali was part of the team which triumphed 3-0 at Seychelles in September.
He has featured in four matches for Port II since joining the Portuguese giants on loan in the summer.
He played last season on loan at Dutch Eredivisie side MVV, weighing in with four goals and six assists in 16 appearances.
