Gata calmly controlled a rebound and volleyed home from six yards after Denis Nya’s free kick and missed a sitter that would have doubled the lead a few minutes later.
The Matchday fixture was moved from Sunday to Monday due to the home side’s CAF Confederation Cup trip to Tunisia where 1-0 to Libyan side Al Ittihad.
The Aiteo Cup champions have two games in hand, with four points separating them from leaders Lobi Stars. They will be looking to rack up points needed to catch and possibly overtake Lobi in those games.
