Nigeria midfielder, John Ogu, has recounted his regrettable experience with a scammer during his early days of his career at Almeria in Spain.
The 29-year-old Hapoel Beer Sheva tweeted to explain how the fraudster raised and dashed his hopes of becoming an overnight billionaire.
“Forget, Poverty is a Disease . God Bless all the Hustlers out there. I remember when I had nothing then. I was in Spain, Man got an alert in my mail about some Huge amount of Dollars. Like a lady. She narrated how she went to war and she has some amount she would want to transfer into my account. As a poor man then I couldn’t sleep. Me thinking Man will be a billionaire over night 😂😂. Story short, it was a Big ass Scam. No shortcut to be financially Ok if you don’t Work hard . Again, GOD Bless all the Hustlers out there. 🙏🏼🙏🏼. Y’all are the Real MVP,” stated Ogu, who struggled with life at Drava Ptuj, Atlético CP, Almería B, Leiria and Académica before hitting it big at Hapoel Be’er Sheva, where he has netted 10 times in 105 matches and lifted the Israeli Premier League title on the last two occasions.
