Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has left out team’s captain, John Mikel Obi and named Watford forward, Isaac Success in his 24-man squad to host Libya in an African Cup of Nations qualifying tie on October 10.
Arsenal midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali and Simeon Nwankwo who featured in the 3-0 win at Seychelles are other two salient omissions from the list, as the team aim for their second win of the series.
Nigeria will host the North Africans at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Friday while the corresponding tie will take place in Tunisia.
The Super Eagles, who lost 2-0 at home to South Africa in their opening fixture, are seeking a return to AFCON final after failing to reach the final of the last edition.
