Juventus have expressed gratitude to Kwadwo Asamoah as the Ghanaian officially departed the Italian champions on Monday and joined Inter Milan on a three-year deal.
Asamoah, who can play at the left side of defence and midfield had a trophy-filled time as a Bianconero, winning six league titles, three Super Cups and four Coppa Italias and nominated for Ghanaian Player of the Year in 2013.
A literally tireless worker with remarkable tactical versatility, Asamoah played 149 matches in all competitions (the second-most among current Juventus midfielders behind Claudio Marchisio), while scoring 5 goals and 16 assists.
“He proved to be an unmovable and invaluable member of the squad and everyone at Juventus thanks him for his many dedicated years of service to the club, wishing him all the best in the future,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
