New Malaga striker, Isaac Success desires to make the most of Malaga opportunity after spending come time on the fringes at Premier League side Watford.
The Nigeria international spoke after his unveiling at Malaga on Thursday following his loan arrival from England last week.
He told the club’s official website: “I feel great and want to support the team to the max. Over these first few days, everything’s gone well.
“I’m here to make the most of this opportunity. The most important thing is to help the team, and if I do well it’s also good for the team. Everyone wants to remain in the First Division, and if we achieve salvation, it’ll be good for me and all the players.
“Since I arrived, I’ve found a good team. The players are working hard but are unhappy with the situation. Football can be like this, the results aren’t coming, but we need to work together, not get discouraged and try to turn this situation around.
“I experienced a similar situation in Granada. The first thing is to trust, to grow every day as a team, because there’s no rival that we cannot defeat. We need to grow and become stronger, which we’ll achieve with victories. It would help us to believe in what we can achieve”.
Success was officially at La Rosaleda alongside two other winter new signings Medhi Lacen and Maxime Lestienne. They were accompanied by the club’s Sports Director, Mario Husillos, who said he would be delighted if Success stayed at the end of loan spell.
“Due to his quality, it’s rare to relate a player like that with Málaga. He’s been out of competition for some time and became available to us. We hope he is himself”, he declared.
Malaga are currently bottom of the La Liga standings, giving mustered jus 3 points in 22 matches.
