Injured Henry Onyekuru has expressed gratitude to Everton’s medical for working hard to get him back on the pitch as soon as possible following a knee injury at Anderlecht.
The Nigeria striker is unhappy his loan stint with the Belgian side ended sooner than expected.
He stated this on twitter on Saturday alongside the picture above that shows him proudly posing with the club’s emblem at Goodison Park.
“Back at @Everton a little earlier than expected, I am so grateful for the facilities and the medical team working hard to get me back playing ASAP! The Lord is my strength ???? – at Everton Football Club,” stated the 20-year-old, who had scored nine goals in 19 appearances for Anderlecht before the injury occurred.
Onyekuru joined Everton from Eupen for € 8 million on June 30, 2017 after netting 29 times and rendering eight assists in 57 matches in two seasons at the modest Belgian side.
He was immediately farmed out by Everton to continue his development at Anderlecht.
