Chairman, Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Reverend Samuel Ikpea commiserates with Chairperson, Nigeria Women Football League, Aisha Falode, on the death of her mother, Mallama Ketumi Abdullai Akokhina, who passed in the early hours of Thursday, March 8, 2018 aged 92.
In a release on Thursday, Ikpea, said he hoped Falode is comforted by God at, adding that he was sure millions of Nigerians have kindest thoughts of the renowned journalist at this time, for adding immense value to female football in Nigeria.
“On behalf of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, I commiserate with Aisha Falode on the demise of her mother. I hope she finds solace in God. I am sure all Nigerians have kind wishes for her, in appreciation of her immense contributions to development of women football in Nigeria. May God grant her and the rest members of her family the fortitude to bear the loss,” stated Ikpea.
The deceased was buried at 4pm on Thursday according to Muslim rites.
