Barcelona have put plans in place to facilitate the transfer or Luan Guilherme, but Gremio president Romildo Bolzan Jr. isn’t willing to give any leeway during negotiations, Sport reports.
Speaking to Radio Gaucha, Bolzan admitted that Gremio are open to selling Luan but warned the Blaugrana not to lower their financial expectations if a deal is to be agreed.
“No one can think that they can come to the third world and buy a player for the price they please,” he said in a rather threatening tone.
“I’m willing to listen to offers, I won’t say we’ll not sell [Luan] because we could receive an irresistible offer. But it’s important that this generation of Gremio players win [the Brasileirao], then people may think about other things.”
Bolzan recalled that Luan is valued at 27 million euros, of which 70 per cent would be for the owners of Gremio, 15 per cent for the club investor Celso Rigo, and another 15 per cent for the player and his representative.
