Euro 2016: Germany Believe In Scweinsteiger

BY OUR REPORTER
Germany defender Jerome Boateng believes Bastian Schweinsteiger can add value to the team at Euro 2016 even though the Manchester United midfielder is not fully fit.
He said: “He’s our captain and he’s our metronome. He calms our game down. He’s certainly not 100% yet, but he’s very important for us.”
Meanwhile, Germany coach Joachim Lowe says that he will have to wait and see if Schweinsteiger will appear in their opening game next week.
“He hasn’t got any playing rhythm at the moment, so we’ll have to see,” he said.
