Sportsrollcall.com understands that Enyimba Football Club will return to their stadium in Aba on August 28 after three seasons away from home due to rehabilitation work in the stadium.
The People’s Elephant have been playing their home matches at the U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar.
The team will host CAF Confederation Cup opponents, CARA on Tuesday August 28 in its first official game in the new stadium.
Players and officials of the two-time African champions were spotted at the refurbished Enyimba International Stadium in Aba on Thursday evening.
The team will have their first training on the new rebranded pitch at 7am on Friday 10 August, according to a statement on their Twitter page.
Eyimba finished third in the 2016/2017 season with 61 points, which qualified them for the CAF Confederation Cup.
They are fourth on the Nigeria Professional Football League log with 38 points, just less than leaders Lobi Stars after 24 rounds of games.
