Enyimba International have retained U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar as their home ground for the 2017-2018 NFFL season as renovation works continue at their stadium in Aba.
The two-time African champions announced this on Saturday in a tweet, which read: “Please be informed that our home games in the 2018 NPFL season will be played at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar; beginning with Wednesday’s visit of Heartland FC. Calabar has been hospitable to us in every way, and has welcomed us with no reservations.”
The club played their home games in Calabar last season and ended up with a CAF Confederation Cup ticket in the bag after finishing third behind Plateau United and MFM FC in the standings.
Meanwhile, sportsrollcall.com understands that the People’s Elephant will miss the services of Togolese midfielder Franco following expiration of his short contract with the club last season.
