Philippe Coutinho has rocked Liverpool by handing in a transfer request force his move to Barcelona.
Liverpool earlier today reiterated the Brazilian is not for sale after rejecting £90.5m pounds bid from Barcelona on Thursday, their second this summer.
Coutinho, 25, is now trying to force through a move himself, with Sky Sports claiming a member of his family said: “Philippe has tried very hard to find an amicable solution but to no avail.
“He has tremendous love for the club and fans but as Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez have pointed out in the past, Liverpool does not let its players leave on amicable terms.”
The Brazilian resorted to this upon hearing the Catalans are considering signing Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Catalans want to replace Neymar following his move to PSG with the Brazilian ace, but have had numerous bids turned down
