Sportsrollcall.com understands that Nigeria Professional Football League returnees Kwara United have been involved in an auto crash, leaving four persons seriously injured and receiving treatment in hospital.
The accident occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on their way to Ilorin from Lagos, where they participated in the just concluded Bet9ja NNL Season Super 4.
The incident leaves their weekend’s 2017-2018 NPFL season opener against Niger Tornadoes hanging in the balance, with no assurance the player would have completely recovered before the time.
The club had yet to communicate the mishap to League Management Company at the time of filing this report, but had duly notified Nigeria National League.
