By Godwin Aikigbe

CSKA Moscow forward, Ahmed Musa, has expressed gratitude to coach Super Eagles Gernot Rohr for visiting him at his Russian club.

The former VVV Venlo player, who is on loan at CSKA from Leicester City, expressed his thoughts in a post on social, thanking the tactician for standing by him in adversity.

He stated: “Words cannot express the gratitude I am feeling for what you did. I appreciate your generosity. What did I ever do to deserve you? You are amazing!A great teacher inspires and you have inspired me to excel in the game of football. I stumbled and failed but you taught me to never give up and keep on trying. I just want to say THANK.. THANK FOR THE VISIT.”

Musa retraced his steps to CSKA Moscow during the winter transfer window after failing to achieve prominence at Kings Power Stadium. Throughout the period of docility, he continuously enjoyed consistent patronage from Rohr, who later advised him to seek regular football elsewhere.
