Former Nigeria forward, Peter Osaze Odemwingie, is relishing his commentary experience with BBC, CNN and Russian Match TV at the ongoing World Cup finals in Russia.

The 36-year-old stated this in a post on Instagram on Saturday, hoping Russia beat Croatia later today to book a spot at the semi-finals.

“What a World Cup it’s been so far. Really enjoyed working with BBC, CNN and Russian Match TV. Hope Russia 🇷🇺 beat Croatia 🇭🇷 today and go through to the Semi final ⚽️🌍🏆🇷🇺2018,” stated the former West Bromwich Albion star.

Odemwingie, who in 2017 played for Madura United, scoring 15 goals in 22 matches, has history with Russia, having been born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in the then Soviet Union.

He scored 10 goals in 63 outings with the Super Eagles between 2002 and 2014 and was a key member of the U23 side that won football silver at 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
